The Fuzzy Fandango will take place on November 8, 2025.
Packet Pickup: Friday, November 7, 2025, 3:00 PM – 7:00 PM at Fleet Feet, Wooster or race morning at Camp Nuhop's Pine Campus

It’s back. It’s bold. It’s slightly ridiculous in the best possible way. The Fuzzy Fandango is Nuhop’s legendary trail-running shindig where you get a full dose of Mohican beauty, questionable decision-making (“I signed up for how many miles?!”), and a finish-line party worth crawling to if you must.

What's New This Year

We’ve shaken the Fuzzy snow globe and mixed things up. Now you can choose from:

1-Mile Fun Run – Blink and you might miss it. Perfect for kids, families, and people who like their running over before their coffee cools.
5K – A quick, punchy tour of Fuzzy terrain with just enough dirt to make laundry day interesting.
15K – Formerly our 9-mile race, now with extra oomph and a few surprise twists.
25K – The sweet spot for trail lovers who like a long morning in the woods without going full ultra.
50K Ultra – Because sometimes you just need to spend all day with us.

Course Highlights

This year’s course is a trail labyrinth—a mash-up of “cold prickly” segments and trails from Fuzzy lore, fan-favorite classics, and a brand-new section that’s never seen a Fuzzy footstep. You’ll get:

Twisty singletrack that will make you feel like a woodland ninja
Forest roads for stretching out your legs before the next uphill makes you question your life choices
Beautiful views under the fall canopy
Just enough rugged terrain to earn that post-race beer

The 50K is still a double loop (because why suffer once when you can do it twice?), with only 1.5 miles of road per lap.

Race Day Schedule

50K: 7:30 AM – For the early birds who eat hills for breakfast.
25K: 8:00 AM – The sensible-yet-tough crowd.
15K: 8:30 AM – Fast enough for speedsters, long enough to feel like an adventure.
5K: 9:00 AM – Boom. Done. Time for a beer.
1-Mile Fun Run: 10:30 AM – Short. Sweet. Adorable.

Parking

50K & 25K: Field outside Nuhop’s main gate
15K, 5K, Fun Run: Mohican Resort & Conference Center (0.25-mile walk to start)
Overflow: Beach property (0.5-mile walk—consider it a warm-up)

Registration Perks

Every runner gets:

Choice of long-sleeve tech shirt or winter hat (or both if you upgrade—because we believe in layering)
Chip timing by Mid Ohio Race Management so you can brag with precision
Post-race meal and drinks, including local beer from The Phoenix Brewing Company (yes, we checked—beer is still an acceptable recovery drink)

Awards

Top 3 male and female finishers in each race distance get awards (excluding the 1 mile fun run). No age groups—just pure glory.
