Camp Nuhop’s unique outdoor education program provides students with the opportunity to become more aware of the natural world through exciting hands-on experiences and develop academic and interpersonal skills while learning from the natural world.
By participating in our outdoor education camps, students can increase their self-awareness, independence, and confidence while also learning to respect and appreciate the environment and their peers.
Our outdoor classroom facilities at our Pine and Hemlock campuses include lodging, dining, and classroom spaces, as well as adventure education resources. The adventure curriculum features our high ropes courses, giant swings, climbing walls, waterfronts for fishing and canoeing, and archery and axe throwing ranges.
Students may visit camp anywhere from 2-5 days for a residential stay, or Nuhop staff can travel to schools or local parks for short-term field trips. No matter the length of the trip, our goal is to provide each student with a safe, nurturing, dynamic learning environment where they are empowered to succeed.
